NOTE: 90% paid by employer, 10% paid by employee (both family and single coverage)

- Employer paid; the District currently pays 20.5% employee’s gross wages into PERS
- No social security tax on employee’s wages

- 24 bonus hours awarded annually for minimal sick leave usage
- Accrued at 3.70 hrs. per pay period from the date of hire
- Three (3) consecutive days of leave, with pay, per occurrence, to attend funeral for immediate family member or spouse’s immediate family; one additional day granted if funeral is held 400 miles from Clark County
- An employee may request, from the Executive Director, one full year of leave without pay for the purpose of attending a library school accredited by the American Library Association
- An employee who is called for jury duty or must appear in court as a witness for the purpose of giving testimony, in conjunction with his or her duties, will continue to receive full salary compensation
- Five days, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
