Enroll in our free 8-week bilingual Expanded  Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in which you will learn how to feed your family for less money.  Instructors from University Of Nevada Cooperative Extension department of Nutrition will be here to cover meal planning, shopping, cooking, food safety and budgeting.  In each class, you will get a chance to sample different recipes and receive a special free educational gift to help you practice your new skills at home.  At the end of the 8 weeks, graduates will receive a certificate of completion, an exercise DVD and a recipe book. 

Free admission & open to the public.  Parents may bring their children to class.  Classes will be held on Tuesday afternoons September 10 through October 29 from 3pm-5pm. 100% attendance is required to receive the certificate of completion and graduation gifts.  To register, please call Marie Arias of UNCE at 257-5571.  Persons in need of special accommodations or assistance must contact the instructor at least three days prior to the scheduled class.   For more information about the class curriculum, please call 507-3458.
