Readers & Writers Corner: Gearing Up

This program will welcome people back to Readers & Writers Corner and introduce participants to the concept of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). During the program, we'll invite people to participate in this year's NaNoWriMo and explain the program. This is optional, of course, since the program itself is entirely individually driven. Participants upload word counts to the web page themselves on the honor system. Adult Services Librarian, Susan M. Williams, has joined NaNoWriMo and is going to write the first rough draft of her own novel. Additionally, Barbara Miller, M.F.A and Firdosi Wharton-Ali, M.F.A will discuss and review: Writers Bloc, Elements of the Novel, Discuss the book, No Plot, No Problem; How to do an Outline and Character Back Story.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 702-507-3866.
