Now and Then: Performative Harlem Renaissance Staged Readings
Join us as community youth perform staged readings illuminating the history of the Harlem Renaissance through the poetry and writings of Langston Hughes. Special tribute is paid to the lives, loves, struggles and accomplishments of African Americans, especially women. Co-sponsored by KJ Aquarius Productions, producer/director Kent Jackman and co-producer Broadway in the Hood, A Source of Joy Theatricals, Inc., Torrey A. Russell and Preston Coghill.
