Geraldine Zarate, the Artist

Mesquite artist Geraldine Zarate exhibits her recent paintings. Geraldine studied Art History at Dixie State College and Southern Utah University. She traveled to Europe during the summers and visited major art museums in England, France, Spain, Italy, Holland and Austria. She studied under Gerald Olsen, Glen Anderson and Thomas Leek. Geraldine's approach in her paintings is inspired by children book Illustrators that impressed her with their variety of style, color and composition. She is a member of the Virgin Valley Artists Association and exhibits her work at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery. Her work is included in art collections in the United States and Europe.
