Radon Awareness Workshop
Did you know that radon gas is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in America? Your home may have it and you don't even know it because radon gas is odorless, colorless, and emanates naturally from the earth. A representative from University Of Nevada Reno's Cooperative Extension program on Radon will be at the library to share the facts about radon's poisonous effects on you, your family, your pets and what you can do if radon is detected in your home. Free admission and open to the public. Free home test kits will be issued to attending homeowners on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. For more information, please call 507-3964.
