Unfolding the Tarot
Have you ever gotten your fortune told by a deck of cards? Are you interested in giving readings, but don’t know how? Have tarot cards left you confused? If so, we have just the class for you. This three-week tarot class is a primer to learn how to read tarot cards, and will be taught using the Rider Waite Tarot deck.
February 2:
During the first week of class, you will uncover the basics of the Tarot, including an introduction to the Major Arcana, an introduction to spreads, and you will find out resources you can use for improving your readings.
February 9:
Week 2 will review the Major Arcana, provide you with an introduction to the suite of Wands and Pentacles, as well as delve deeper into discussions of tarot spreads.
February 16:
The final week of this class will review the Wands and Pentacles, and provide an introduction to the Swords and Cups. You will have more examples of tarot spreads and leave the course with a basic understanding of reading tarot cards.
Tarot decks and books will be available for purchase either before or after class, though are not required.
This class is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 507-3631.
