Art in Action:Spring Break Teen Art Camp 2013
Immerse yourself in art this Spring Break. Art workshops will be offered Monday - Wednesday , March 25, 26 and 27 for teens 11-18 years old. Registration begins on March 1st at the Youth Services Desk at the participating Libraries: Sahara West, Windmill, Enterprise, Centennial Hills, Clark County, Sunrise and Whitney Library.
An exhibition featuring the art created by teens who participate in our Art in Action Teen Art Camps will be on exhibit in April at three locations, complete with an opening reception.
Art Instuctor for Sahara West: Lammel Szeitz-Sager
March 25: Face vessels, clay mugs and jugs, inspired by the African American Freedmen and their African pasts.
March 26: Miniature easel paintings inspired by Georgia O'Keefe
March 27: Tibetan sand mandalas on velour paper
