An Evening with Julia Quinn and Sarah MacLean
Author: Julia Quinn and Sarah MacLean
Join bestselling historical romance authors Julia Quinn and Sarah MacLean for a vibrant discussion of love and literature. Through Quinn's wild romps through London and Scotland and the lush world of MacLean's 19th century casinos, the pair will shed light on the romance genre--and talk writing, research, history and happily ever after.
As the daughter of a former British spy and a jet-setting Italian, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Sarah MacLean turned to books to find her own adventure. After college, she moved to New York City, where she took a job in publishing, bouncing through several jobs and a graduate degree at Smith College before finally setting pen to paper and writing novels. MacLean writes young adult and adult romance from her apartment in Brooklyn, where she lives with her husband and their dog.
Best known for her Bridgerton series, Julia Quinn is the New York Times bestselling author of witty, fast-paced historical romances set in regency England. She started writing her first book one month after finishing college and has been tapping away at her keyboard ever since. The author of nineteen novels including The Duke and I, The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever and most recently, The Lady Most Willing, she is a graduate of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges and lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
A book signing and reception will follow the talk; books will be for sale at the event. Call 507-3459 for more information.
Co-sponsored by Avon Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
