Art in Action: Spring Break Teen Art Camp 2013
Immerse yourself in art this Spring Break. Art workshops will be offered Monday - Wednesday , March 25, 26 and 27 for teens 11-18 years old. Registration begins on March 1st at the Youth Services Desk at the participating Libraries: Sahara West, Windmill, Enterprise, Centennial Hills, Clark County, Sunrise and Whitney Library.
An exhibition featuring the art created by teens who participate in our Art in Action Teen Art Camps will be on exhibit in April at three locations, complete with an opening reception.
Art Instuctor for Sunrise: Dikka Rian
March 25: create 10-inch figure sculpture from wire and then wrapped in fabric and plaster inspired by artist George Segal.
March 26: 3D Fractals - create raised reliefs, from the three dimensional process of fractals.
March 27: Amate bark paper paintings, a folk art of Mexico; bright color paintings of animals and village life.
