Introduction To the Internet
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL COMPUTER CLASSES. PRE-REQUISITE: BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPUTER AND MOUSE IS REQUIRED. In this two-hour class, you will learn how to use the web browser Internet Explorer. Use some of the popular search engines to look up information on the Internet and navigate a web page. Special emphasis will be placed on the differences between the computer center's public access computers as compared to a home user's computer. Class time will be roughly split between lecture/demonstration and the opportunity for hands-on practice using the Computer Center's public access computers.
