In recognition of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join Japanese American author Richard Imon as he leads us on a photographic and cultural journey starting with a Japanese family who immigrated to America during the Meiji Era and how they assimilated through major historical events over the past century, including an unforgettable segment about the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII.  A mini art gallery of photos from Richard's private collection will be on display and copies of his book, Nisei Legacy, will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.
