Guitar Basics 101

Want to play the guitar? Local guitar instructor, Matt Hennager, teaches this three-week course covering how to read music, what type of guitar is best for you, an introduction to guitar chords, chord practice progressions and other key components. By the end of the course, you will be able to play a full song on the guitar.

Classes are one hour in length and those wishing to attend must bring their own electric or acoustic guitar.

You must arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to tune your guitar, and attend the first class of the session in order to attend the subsequent classes.

This course is geared towards beginners ages 10 and older, though intermediate players may enjoy a review. Classes run May 4, 11, and 18.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call (702) 507-3631.
