Discovering Italy - A Cultural Perspective

Do you have a love for Italy? Join us for a monthly historical lecture, where we will delve into various topics such as the history of trance music, Jewish culture in Italy, monasteries and much more.

Topic for July: Damanhur

Damanhur is a self-contained eco-villiage in Piedmonte with its own government and currency inspired by the historical continent of Atlantis. Their chior sings in an Atlantean language. They have instruments that communicate with trees in their meditation forest. They offer university studies in healing and meditation plus courses in sacred dance, stained glass art, and jewlery and courses in spiritual growth. They have created the Temples of Humankind underground, which is a series of interconnected temples with stained glass blacklit to show their magnificence. The Temples of Humankind are considered the Eighth Wonder of the World.
