Q: How do I change my Home Library?
A: The easiest way to change your Home Library is to log in to My Account. Click the "Modify Personal Information" button, below your name and address. Scroll down just a little, and choose a new Home Library from the drop-down list. Then (this is important!) scroll all the way to the bottom and click the "Go" button. That's what saves your changes. If you have any difficulty, just send an email to ask@lvccld.org. Be sure to include your library card number, and which library you want to be your new Home Library. We'll update that for you. Once you change your Home Library, your requests will go there automatically, unless you request otherwise.

Q: How do I find out what my PIN is?
A: A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is the secret number that only you know, that lets you see My Account, on the library web page. You set that number either when you get your library card, or later at your library. Once you set your PIN, no one else can ever see it. If you forget your PIN, the library won't know what it is.
If you never set a PIN, you can set one using My Account. When the computer asks for your library card number and PIN, enter your library card number, and leave the PIN blank. The computer will ask you to choose a PIN.
When you choose your number, the computer doesn't like repeating numbers, like 1111, or 1212. Please select a non-repeating number like 1211, or 1234.
If you had a PIN, but have forgotten it, please visit your library, and ask at any desk. The staff will verify your ID (for your protection), and then help you reset your PIN.
