Q: Error Message: Library Card Expired
A: Library cards expire once a year.
You can renew your library card at any library. Just stop at the front desk with your picture ID, and confirmation of your current address.
If you're trying to request or renew items, we will have to do that for you until your card is updated. Please either call your library, or send in an email. Tell us what you'd like done. Be sure to include your library card number!

Q: How do I make a computer reservation?
A: You can make a reservation for a library computer either at the library, or from home. Start at the library web page.- Click on "Computer Reservations."
- Click on a library.
- Enter your library card number and PIN, and click on "Submit." If you don't have a library card number, you won't be able to reserve a computer.
- Be sure to be at your computer within five minutes of your time. They will only hold your reservation for five minutes.

Q: How do I stop the "Secured and Unsecured" message from popping up?

A: Microsoft Windows is designed to notify users when nonsecure items may appear on a page. While the District's web site is secure, the message pops up on any site utilizing credit card transactions.
To keep this message from popping up, you can change your settings in your browser.
For Internet Explorer users:
- Go to the top of your browser and click on Tools/Internet Options
- Click on the Security tab
- Click on the Custom Level button at the bottom
- In that top box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section and find where it says "Display Mixed Content"
- Click the Enable bubble to select that option
- Restart Internet Explorer
