Family literacy is a building block for reading success. Pre-readers and readers are invited to join our free Summer Reading Club, which offers opportunities for children and their families to share reading time together and explore other activities that promote learning in the home.
Here's how to join:
Sign up at any Las Vegas-Clark County Library District branch and receive a club card, card holder and reading log. Keep track of the books you read and/or activities that you complete on your log.
Here's how to earn prizes:
For every five spaces of reading or other activity, you'll earn a prize. Keep reading and/or completing activities and when you have moved 10 and 20 spaces, you'll be entered in the Grand Prize drawing for a chance to win four round-trip tickets to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.
Come in for your reading log and a book sack to get you started.
