Hoopla Digital has created the Hoopla Bonus Borrows Collection in order to provide more availability to content while practicing social distancing. This collection of more than 1,000 top titles is now available for download and will not take away from the now 20 checkouts per month. This collection will be available through April 30th and is accessible with your free Library District card.

March 16–March 20, 2020: While the Library District branches are currently closed, fresh meals and milk will be distributed by Three Square to children ages 5–18 directly from refrigerated trucks at the following library parking lots: Clark County Library, Enterprise Library, Spring Valley Library, and Whitney Library. Kanopy is now making parts of its collection available for unlimited viewing for the next 30 days. That means that it will not deduct from your 10 views for the month. Thank you to Kanopy for providing this much-needed FREE service that you can start using today! With the support of select content partners like First Run Features, Samuel Goldwyn, Collective Eye Films, FilmRise, Films We Like, Media Education Foundation and NYX and more, Kanopy has put together a collection of films that you can watch for the next 30 days. Watching these titles will not deduct from your 10 views per month. Kanopy has also opened free, unlimited access to Kanopy Kids, so you can stream quality educational content like Sesame Street, Arthur, and enjoy the benefits from their language learning series. Free access will be available for 30 days.
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Three Square are offering FREE after school meals to kids and teens in Souther Nevada from March 1 through May 20, 2020! The Three Square Kids Café Meals will be available at four of our libraries. Stop by our Clark County Library, Enterprise Library, Spring Valley Library, and Whitney Library locations as we'll be serving up shelf-stable meals to anyone under the age of 18 years old. No registration is required, all you have to just show up!

Do you have an overdue book, DVD, or CD with the library? If so, why not get out of debt and help the hungry? Beginning Monday, April 1, running through Tuesday, April 30, library users who have overdue fines can clear their accounts by bringing packaged or canned food items to the library. You can even bring in partial payment of fines with food items and there is no limit to the dollar amount that can be waived!
