Teach English

The Adult Learning Program (formerly CALL) has an ongoing need for instructors and volunteer tutors to work with students one-on-one, in small groups, and in the classroom. Volunteer tutors help students either in one-on-one or small group settings to build literacy skills leading to enrollment in a beginning level class. Volunteer tutors may also assist students in the classroom setting with assignments, homework, and tests. Volunteer tutors are needed throughout the Library District and during Adult Learning Center class hours. Volunteer tutors are asked for a minimum time commitment of two hours, twice per week. Classes are Monday through Thursday from 10:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. For more information, please call us at 702-507-3446 or 702-507-3538.
