Our Adult Learning Program offers free English classes designed for non-native English speakers who are seeking employment opportunities and wish to improve their English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Our Adult Learning Program offers an array of classes for multiple English levels. English classes are offered throughout the year and each class goes for 6-8 weeks, four days per week, two and a half or three hours per day for a total of 70-72 hours. Adults wishing to participate are expected to commit to attending class daily for the entire length of the program. Classes are offered either in the morning or evening, to meet the needs of those registering to attend.
Current English class locations are: Clark County Library, East Las Vegas Library, Rainbow Library, Sahara West Library, Spring Valley Library, Sunrise Library, West Charleston Library, Windmill Library, Whitney Library, East Las Vegas Community Center, Bob Price Community Center, and Asian Community Development Council.
The Library District's Adult Learning Program offers open Computer Labs at both the Clark County Library and East Las Vegas Library for current and past students.
