Program Information

Reading, Writing, Math (Adult Literacy)
These classes are designed for adults, primarily native English speakers, who want to improve their reading, writing and math skills. These developmental programs take learners from performance level 0 to level 4.0. Class materials reflect real-life situations designed to hold the interest of adults and increase their skills so that they can pursue a HSE, adult High School Diploma, college degree and/or reenter the workforce.

English Language Learners (ESL)
These classes are designed for non-native English speakers who wish to improve their skills in reading and writing English. Beginning classes are geared toward learners who have no prior knowledge of English and who have few or no literacy skills in their native languages. As learners advance through the program, they master progressively higher levels of language and workplace skills.

Citizenship
Citizenship classes are designed for non-native speakers of English who are interested in applying for naturalization and want to prepare for the civics and English test and interview required by the United States Citizenship Immigration Services (USCIS). These classes are suitable for learners of English as a second language at the high-beginning through high-intermediate levels.
