Free Teen Pantry Now Available at Clark County Library Best Buy Teen Tech Center

The Clark County Library Best Buy Teen Tech Center is now offering a pantry full of awesome FREE items for teens to take advantage of for as long as supplies last. Everything is done through safe, contactless ordering on a designated computer located outside the entrance to the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, and each item is worth a certain amount of points. Teens can use up to 10 points per day. This FREE program is available to all youth ages 12-17 in Southern Nevada.

Help Those In Need By Donating to Food For Thought

Do you have an overdue library item or are there fines you need to pay? The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is currently waiving all customer library fines upon request due to COVID-19! Beginning Thursday, June 4, and running through Friday, July 31, 2020, library users can help support and donate to Three Square by bringing packaged or canned food items to the library. All donations go to replenish our community food bank and provide assistance to food-insecure families.

El Distrito Bibliotecario Comienza El Reto de Verano ‘Summer Challenge’ En Sociedad Con El Distrito Escolar Del Condado De Clark

El Distrito Bibliotecario de Las Vegas-Condado de Clark comenzó su programa anual de verano ‘Summer Challenge’, y por primera vez en sociedad con el Distrito Escolar del Condado de Clark (CCSD, por sus siglas en inglés). El reto de verano ‘Summer Challenge’ es el programa de aprendizaje de verano del Distrito Bibliotecario que ayuda a la juventud local a terminar con el aburrimiento del verano mientras se divierten y mejoran sus habilidades académicas. Con las sucursales del Distrito Bibliotecario cerradas temporalmente debido a la epidemia del virus COVID-19, el reto de verano será en línea este año en la página LVCCLD.org/SummerChallenge. Kids Can Enjoy Free After School Meals From Three Square

The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Three Square are offering FREE after school meals to kids and teens in Souther Nevada from March 1 through May 20, 2020! The Three Square Kids Café Meals will be available at four of our libraries. Stop by our Clark County Library, Enterprise Library, Spring Valley Library, and Whitney Library locations as we'll be serving up shelf-stable meals to anyone under the age of 18 years old. No registration is required, all you have to just show up!

Denise Marie Lamar’s goal is to capture the beauty of light, color, and form on canvas and share her feeling of exhilaration with others. She will display a new art exhibit at Summerlin Library from May 19 - August 4, 2020. This series of oil paintings are inspired by Paramahansa Yogananda, who came to America from India in 1920 to establish meditation centers and, through his teachings, help promote the unity of all faiths throughout the world.
