Explosion of Silence by Emily Matview features photos of local and national bands such as Blink 182, Mercy Music, Jeff Rosenstock, Holding onto Sound, and more. Matview’s photos explode with the energy of the concerts they were captured at, and viewing the scenes devoid of the music reveals aspects of the experience that may otherwise go unnoticed.
Emily Matview is a youth services librarian and founder of Punks in Vegas; a music site dedicated to promoting the Las Vegas punk scene and promoting a positive community.
