Mikel Conrad: Remembering Our Veterans One Story at a Time

The greatest generations of men & women who served this country are passing on and many of their stories are not being preserved. Mikel Conrad’s goal is to photograph and tell the story of as many veterans as possible so we may remember their sacrifice and be inspired by their brave service. His portraits are a tribute and an effort to preserve individual histories for future generations.

Mikel Conrad started his career as a professional portrait photographer in 1994. He worked as the main photographer and studio manager at Photography by Van in Las Vegas for 10 years. In 2004 Conrad opened his own studio, Mikel's Photography & Design in Henderson, NV. He has traveled the country attending seminars and conventions learning the latest technology as well as teaching seminars to new photographers.
