Audiobooks Are Moving from RBdigital to the Libby App
Starting Thursday, September 3, 2020, RBdigital will be merging with OverDrive, which means that now all of your favorite downloadable audiobooks will be available in one convenient place that you can enjoy anywhere 24/7! All digital titles from the Library District's collection that were previously available through the RBdigital app will be moved to OverDrive and available for download through the Libby app, the Overdrive app, as well as the OverDrive website.
Why The Change?
OverDrive and RBdigital have partnered to provide library cardholders with even more FREE digital content. If you've been enjoying the Libby app, you may notice more great titles available for you to borrow.
What If I Have Audiobooks Checked Out?
If you have audiobooks checked out in RBdigital, they will be available for the rest of their lending periods. You can continue to read on the RBdigital app or in a browser until the due date without disruption. Starting September 3, 2020, please use the Libby or Overdrive app to listen to downloadable audiobooks from the Library District's downloadable collection.
What About My Holds?
Unfortunately, your holds will not automatically transfer from RBdigital to OverDrive. You will need to place new holds directly in OverDrive. You can export your transaction history from the RBdigital website (not from the app) by going to My Account > Profiles. If you need assistance, please contact us, opens a new window!
