Support Children in Need During the 24th Annual Shoes for Children Shoe Drive!

Happy Holidays!

The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is pleased to announce its 24th Annual Shoes for Children Benefit Shoe Drive. In partnership with Assistance League of Las Vegas' Operation School Bell program, this shoe drive supports children in need throughout the greater Las Vegas area, including Clark County School District students, early learning centers, and local charities.

Donations will be accepted at all Las Vegas-Clark County Library District library branches November 15-December 31, and can be made in the following ways:

  • New athletic shoes (sized to fit preschoolers through high school youth).
  • Monetary donations (cash, check, debit/credit). These are turned into Payless Shoe Source gift cards and distributed to CCSD schools and early learning centers.
  • Gift card donations (shoe retailers, department stores, Visa/Mastercard, etc.).

We are also excited to announce seven wonderful benefit performances at the West Las Vegas Library. The “cost” of admission to these performances is a pair of new athletic shoes:
