Then and Now by Brian Martinez

Brian Martinez presents a collection of acrylic paintings exploring progression and compositional problem solving within the creation of art.

Brian Martinez was born in Anaheim, California in 1996, and his family moved to Las Vegas when he was 6 years old. Brian started off learning about art through graffiti in middle school, then he moved onto painting on canvas by the time he was in high school. Brian attended Las Vegas High School where he was Art Club President and a student in the Partnership At Las Vegas Program. Through PAL, he was able to land an internship at the Joseph Watson Collection in Las Vegas, NV where he continues to work as a gallery assistant. Brian recently graduated from the College of Southern Nevada, and will soon be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
