Nevada Watercolor Society: 2021 Fall Show

This year’s annual exhibit of paintings by Nevada Watercolor Society members was juried and judged by invited artist Linda Kemp. The NVWS celebrates 52 years of encouraging and promoting the advancement of water media in Southern Nevada.

ART ORGANIZATION STATEMENT

The Nevada Watercolor Society (NVWS) was chartered on August 4, 1969, to encourage and promote the advancement of water media in Southern Nevada. It is a nonprofit, educational organization under IRS and Nevada statutes. The society meets on the second Wednesday of each month beginning in September and continuing through May. Membership is open to anyone. Painting demonstrations, plein air painting outings, and several painting workshops are organized throughout the year. Beginners and advanced students benefit from the experience of nationally known and local artists.

The Society presents two juried exhibits each year. The Fall Show and the Spring Show are open to anyone.  In addition, an NVWS Signature Show, open to members, is exhibited each year. Cash and merchandise awards are distributed to winning entries.
