The Mesquite Library Campus is built on a 1.63-acre parcel that was donated to the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District by the City of Mesquite. The new 13,313 square-foot library is located on the southeast corner of West First North Street and Desert Road. Immediately to the north is the Learning Center, the former 5,464-square-foot library that was redesigned.
The Mesquite Library has a materials collection of 34,000 items, an Artspace to showcase local artists, a café with drive-thru window service, Makerspace for creative expression, homework help center with laptops and class materials, an outdoor play area with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and sensory-related equipment, dedicated teen lounge, multigenerational club room, and a community room. The Learning Center includes an adult computer center, instructional classroom, meeting room, study rooms, and the One-Stop Career Center.
