Teachers in Libraries

Homework help has been identified as the highest priority need by local parents, teachers, and community leaders. CCSD teacher tutors and America Reads America Counts UNLV students provide over 15,000 hours of homework help to students from over 250 local schools at 13 library branch locations in the Vegas Valley.

Teachers in Libraries and Tutors.  The Las Vegas Clark County Library District will offer in-person tutoring for students in grades K-12 beginning September 21, 2020:

  • UNLV students from the School of Education will provide homework help assistance in all Vegas Valley branches from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays thru Thursdays and Saturdays. Call for availability.
  • Teacher in Libraries tutors will be available from Monday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the following branches:
