THE LIBRARY DISTRICT IS YOUR
BACK TO SCHOOL HEADQUARTERS FOR ALL AGES
Neighborhood libraries offer free access to WiFi, technology, homework help,
plus Adult Learning, too!
The pandemic has brought with it a new normal. Whether you are an adult looking to change your career or a parent in need of learning support for your kids and teens this school year, the Library District is here for you!
Kids & Teens - We are here to help with a broad range of support systems, both online and within our neighborhood libraries, for children in grades K-12. Check this page for examples of educational support, free access to technology, reading and research materials, homework help, tutoring, and online resources.
Adults - You may be looking for ways to improve your job & language skills, earn a diploma, or change careers. We have so much to offer through our vast online resources, Adult Learning Program, and One-Stop Career Center.
The Library District’s mission is to:
- Provide children, teens, and college-bound young adults with the tools and support that they need to thrive during this challenging school year.
- Offer STEAM project-based learning, device assistance, digital connectivity, and more in a safe and supportive environment.
- Partner with parents, caregivers, and teachers, within our 25 library branches across Clark County, to ensure that our youth are getting the educational opportunities they need to succeed in the new economy.
- Work with adults to help them determine a new career path and how to gain the skills needed to be successful.
We offer a vast collection of physical materials in our branches including books, magazines, movies, and music. Parents and kids are also invited to stream and download content on LVCCLD.org, where you will discover hundreds of online resources and more.
