LAS VEGAS-CLARK COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT
PARTNERS WITH PARENTS TO SUPPORT LIMITLESS LEARNING
Neighborhood libraries offer free access to WiFi, technology, homework help & more
The new normal of distance learning brings myriad challenges to parents with children in grades K-12. The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is here to help families, offering a broad range of support systems, all under one roof, at their neighborhood library.
The Library District gives parents a 360 approach to remote learning. Within their local libraries, children are surrounded by educational support, with free access to technology, reading and research materials, homework help, tutoring, and online resources.
The Library District’s mission is to:
- Provide children, teens, and college-bound young adults with the tools and support that they need to thrive during this challenging school year.
- Offer STEAM project-based learning, device assistance, digital connectivity, and more in a safe and supportive environment.
- Partner with parents, caregivers, and teachers, within our 25 library branches across Clark County, to ensure that our youth are getting the educational opportunities they need to succeed in the new economy.
We offer a vast collection of physical materials in our branches including books, magazines, movies, and music. Parents and kids are also invited to stream and download content on LVCCLD.org, where you will discover hundreds of online resources and more.
