Simply follow the instructions below and The Kroger Family of Companies will donate a portion of your eligible purchases to aid the Library District Foundation's upcoming initiatives that go towards supporting the diverse communities across Southern Nevada.
Summer is a time to make learning fun by giving kids and teens the freedom to explore new activities and to read whatever they like. The Library District’s annual Summer Challenge program gives them the motivation to follow their own interests and prevent school skills from sliding during the long summer break. It’s also the perfect antidote to the “I’m bored” blues that can set in, keeping young minds challenged and horizons expanding. This year’s Summer Challenge theme is POWER UP YOUR ROBOT, and I’m proud to say that we had over 500 attendees at our kickoff at the East Las Vegas Library. We registered over 2,000 sign-ups in the first few days.
The photos of Afghanistan Black & White 2021 feature images captured during the Peace Corps’s War on Hunger in Afghanistan from 1971-1973. On view at West Las Vegas Library 8/10/2021-10/12/2021.
See Joseph Watson's paintings, drawings, and prints in the touring exhibit "Stories Without Words" at West Las Vegas Library from June 3 through August 8, 2021.
