In loving memory of Jet Mitchell

The Foundation is proud to be the recipient of multiple generous gifts in memory of Jet Mitchell. We asked her partner, Lee Margulin, to tell us a little about Jet, and he shared this with us.

"Jet Mitchell loved living in Las Vegas. She moved to Vegas in the early 90's, became a recruiter in the IT community, earned her law degree at UNLV and eventually found her calling as a business professor at the College of Southern Nevada. An avid runner, Jet ran a half-marathon in all 50 states. Her passions in life were travelling, reading mystery/crime stories, teaching and being a representative for breast cancer patients like herself. One of her last requests was for her friends and family to continue to support the Las Vegas-Clark County Library Foundation to thank them for the entertainment and solace that the library provided her throughout her life."

We are so honored to have played a role in this amazing woman's life, and would like to thank the following family and friends for honoring her memory through their donations.
