Curbside Pick-Up Service & Book Returns Continue

Slow and steady. The Library District has reopened 24 of our 25 library buildings, where you can get free access to computers and WiFi, pick up books, movies, and music, and visit our art galleries. You can also pick up your items using our convenient Curbside Service. We know that you come to our libraries to learn, to grow, to find community, and to pursue your dreams, and we are here to help!

For everyone’s health & safety, social distancing will be the “new normal” for the foreseeable future, which means there are no spaces for reading or studying, and browsing isn’t available, for now, because we need to keep our items sanitary. But that’s what our helpful staff is here for, to help you select your items and pick them up at the library desk.

Thank you for being patient with us as we figure this out together.

So many ways to connect. We have missed you and we are here to serve you in this new environment! We also encourage you to stream and download materials at LVCCLD.org; enjoy our entertaining and educational library programs at YouTube.com/TheLibraryDistrict; and take advantage of our Curbside Pick-Up Service.

Curbside to go. This streamlined service makes it so easy to pick up your holds and drop off your returns. Simply place your holds online (or by phone) and call your branch, where our staff will help you make an appointment. Then drive, bike, or walk up to the designated curbside area, and you’ll get to take home a bit of normalcy. Click here for all of the details. We look forward to helping you make your next great discovery!

We're here for you. There are lots of ways to connect with your library community, so let’s start a conversation. Follow us on Facebook, comment on Twitter and Instagram, leave a review or comment on our website, or send us your questions at Ask@LVCCLD.org. We look forward to hearing from you!

Find something you love. Take time to browse our vast digital collections and online resources … it’s all there for you at LVCCLD.org. In the meantime, let’s continue to learn, connect, create, and grow together at a safe social distance.

Be well friends!

We’re here for you!
